Tasslehoff Burrfoot
Tasslehoff Burrfoot, my uncle, is one of the most popular, an underestimated of the Heroes of the Lance. Kender to the core, Tas enjoys getting into mishief, and taunting angry passerby-ers as if there were no tommorrow. His preferred weapon is the hoopak, but he also has a dagger, called 'Rabbit-Slayer' which was given to him by Sturm. Tasslehoff, discovered, and became a member of the companions over a misunderstanding with a magical bracelet. He stayed with Flint Fireforge in Solace, (much to Flint's dismay) and went on many adventures with Flint and Tanis. He rescued Caramon and Raistlin from getting in trouble with the Dean of the mage school, and that also resulted in another friendship. Raistlin often called upon Tas to get spell components for him. During the War of the Lance, Tas played a key-role. Firstly he rescued the Companions from certain death, by pretending to be a black dragon, and he later discovered Fizban, and smashed the Dragon Orb, at the Wayreth council, bringing peace between the humans and Elves. He also discovered the other Dragon Orb, in the High Clerist's Tower, which resulted in the creation of the Dragon Traps. Tasslehoff was also the one who knew the secret of the DragonLances, and kept it to himself for several years. And most importantly, he destroyed Chaos, by plunging his dagger into Chaos's foot, drawing blood, and saving Krynn. He got squashed flat, and sadly he died. Or did he.... :)
Flint Fireforge
Flint Fireforge, relative of Reghar Fireforge, grew up in Hillhome. He eventually met up with Tanis and lived in Qualinost for a while.During his stay in Qualinost he made many crafts for the Speaker of the Suns. As time wore on he and Tanis met up with Tas and more interesting adventures were taken upon.
Flint has a few gripes about his travels on Krynn. First of all, he is rather allergic to horses, which is why he rides Fleetfoot the mule. And that happens to be a griffon mane in his helmet! He is also deathly afraid of boats. The clumsy Caramon once dumped him into a river where he half drowned and has been hesitant to embark on sea journeys ever since. And lastly, that doorknob of a kender, Tasslehoff Burrfoot.He often annoys the heck out of Flint, but deep down Flint really cares for that crazed kender.
Not many know this about Flint, but in his early years he was betrothed to Lolly Ockenfels. He once admitted this to Tanis, but few have ever heard the story.
Unfortunately, Flint met his end during the War of the Lance. His was not a valiant death, for he died of a weak heart in Godshome. It was truly one of the saddest moments in the history of Krynn.But of course, Flint will always be waiting for Tas under that tree, with Fizban keeping him company until the kender arrives.
